So finally, ME and MY kids! I finally did it. I asked my sister to come take pictures of MY family at one of my favorite places...the railroad tracks in the country. My husband was off work, we kept Ab home from school, and Ikes huge forehead bruise and black eyes were almost gone. It was all quite the gong show to tell you the truth...trying to be in the picture and direct the shoot at the same time. It wasn't working too well, Ike wasn't cooperating (whats new, I know) and we very nearly got hit by a train who failed to give much warning at all of its presence. But after getting home, going through the pictures and critiquing and editing a few, I am happy to get one of me with each of my kiddoes.
Introducing numero uno... (that is what we call them in code since Abby can spell). Isn't she all grown up and lovely! My baby girl. I love her hair down and pulled over with a clip. She looks exactly like she did when a baby but just older.

Numero dos...he would barely crack a smile. I am tickling him here and I believe he sat there for a minute at the most. Normally
he is very sweet on his mama and showers me with kisses, but a bit shy in front of the camera and likes to NOT do what he is told. Ha! This is the one and only picture of us that morning. I am so glad to have it!

And finally numero tres..the craziest of the three and he is only 8 months old. What a sweet baby. I love his eyes in the first photo and absolutely love the second of him kissing his mama. He was all smiles that morning.

Here is one of my favorites of the family. I know you can't see our faces but I like it that way! And there you have it...my family on the railroad...still alive, thank goodness.

For the record, I enjoy TAKING the pictures so much more than having them taken of my family. It is hard work, coordinating clothing, hoping all will smile, making sure the baby is fed, making sure the three year old doesn't run in to anything for a week prior to the shoot, etc. , etc.! Thanks T-Amy for taking these of us. You did a fabulous job!
