Georgia Bridals, Part I...Something Borrowed

Photobucket

A few days ago I posted a teaser about this bride from Georgia. She came to marry a Texas man and wanted some country scenery for her bridal session. She also brought TWO wedding dresses. So, I'll be posting about both of them in two different posts. This is the first wedding dress...it was her mothers....something borrowed. We spent the first half taking pictures in this dress. I lOVEed it! What a great idea and so fun to have pictures of. I think it looks vintage and fit right in to our country setting.

During our consult, she requested a "field of flowers." What a trooper too! In order to get to this field, she had to climb a fence and dodge cow patties. :) I think it was worth it though!

Stunning!

I liked this picture every time I came across it...maybe the red and how she is sitting perfectly on the railing and how her hair is flowing...the angle maybe...still not for sure....but I just LIKE it. :) Come to think of it...it looks like something out of a magazine. :)

Yes ma'am...gotta love the cowboy boots! A true Texan now :)

Here is another field...another fence that had to be climbed. I took this picture while sitting on the 7 foot fence....while she was walking away from me. Once again her hair is flowing beautifully and I love the flow of her dress....out in the middle of nowhere it seems.

Notcie the cows off in the distance. This is what I picture when I think of Texas.

A bouquet of weeds...not her actual wedding flower, but something fun to hold in the picture. :)

Just another one I ran across that we took in the field of flowers. The color ones are pretty...but I like the black and white too.

This is the very final picture we took in her mother's wedding dress. Just beautiful!

And I always have to include a picture that actually shows someone's personality! Here is the pretty bride climbing over the fence ....tall fence I should add...with a smile on her face!

I hope you enjoy Part I of our bridal session. More to come soon...

Love these pictures of my beautiful daughter. You did a great job of capturing her spirit and her personality. It means a lot to me that she is wearing my dress and I think it was perfect for the setting.

Loved all of them. She's such a pretty bride too. How special that she incorporated her mother's dress, the boots and the fields to give it her own touch.
